0Vorozhtsova Tatiana Aleksandrovna (Russian: Ворожцова Татьяна Александровна, pronounced [vərɐʂʹtsovə]; born 28 November 1962) is a Russian singer (soprano), soloist at Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, People's Artist of the Russian Federation.

Tatiana Vorozhtsova was born on November 28, 1962 in the village of Vladimirovka, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in a musical family. As a child, she enjoyed singing. Her outstanding natural vocal abilities were first noticed by a teacher at children's music school where Tatiana studied and Vorozhtsova started developing her singing skills professionally.

In 1987, she graduated from Krasnoyarsk State Institute of Arts (since 2018 – Dmitri Hvorostovsky Siberian State Academy of Arts), Associate Professor V. N. Karlova’s class. At the final examinations, Tatiana sang Iolanta and her scene partner was the same-year student Dmitri Hvorostovsky.

After graduating from university, since 1987 she has been working at Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Vorozhtsova made her professional debut singing the role of Prilepa in The Queen of Spades by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. As for her first season culmination, Tatiana Aleksandrovna brilliantly debuted as Marfa in The Tsar's Bride by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. Her repertoire contains more than thirty parts, including: Iolanta (Iolanta by Pyotr Tchaikovsky), Mimì (La Bohème by Giacomo Puccini), Pamina (The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart), Kseniya (Boris Godunov by Modest Mussorgsky), Elle (La Voix Humaine by Francis Poulenc), Micaëla (Carmen by Georges Bizet), Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia by Gioachino Rossini), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi by Giacomo Puccini), Gilda (Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi), Marfa (The Tsar's Bride by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov) and others. In 1989, Vorozhtsova became the first performer of Kashtanka part in The Clown and the Dog by Vladimir Rubin. She received the prize of the Union of Theatre Workers for this role and was highly praised by the leading music critics of the country. As a soloist, she performed on the Mariinsky Theatre stage (Ruslan and Lyudmila by Mikhail Glinka, 1994; The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1994) and the Bolshoi Theatre stage (La Bohème by Giacomo Puccini, 2001; Iolanta by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, 2002).

Tatyana Vorozhtsova's concert repertoire includes chamber vocal music of the 18th-19th centuries, popular classical music, works by modern composers, romances, songs. In addition to the opera stage, she has performed as a soloist with philharmonic groups: Russian Academic Orchestra and Concert Brass Band at Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Society, Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic Russian Orchestra, etc. She took part in concert and festival tours organized by I. K. Arkhipova (Irina Arkhipova presents, 1991, 1993, 1995). Vorozhtsova tours a lot around Russia and abroad – China, Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Egypt, Thailand, Japan, South Korea and other countries.

She is the winner of prestigious All-Russian and International competitions. Among her most outstanding achievements are: the II prize at the All-Russian Competition of Vocalists (Belgorod, 1991); the III prize and a special Prize for artistry at the International Glinka Competition of Vocalists (Almaty, 1991); the II prize at the International Chamber Singing Competition "Amber Nightingale" (Kaliningrad, 1992); a special award at the International Singing Competition in Coburg (Germany, 1992).

In 1994, Vorozhtsova was awarded the title of Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation; in 2005 – People's Artist of the Russian Federation.
