0Shavlygin Dmitry Olegovich (Russian: Шавлыгин Дмитрий Олегович) is an artist-sculptor, teacher. He was born on October 9, 1977, Krasnoyarsk.

Dmitry Olegovich Shavlygin was born in the family of the chief architect of the Krasnoyarsk Territory O.V. Shavlygin. Grandson of the sculptor, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, corresponding member of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts V.I. Shavlygin.

In 1995 he graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Art College named after V.I. Surikov.

In 2001 he graduated from the Krasnoyarsk State Art Institute (now the Siberian State Institute of Arts named after Dmitry Hvorostovsky) with a degree in artist-sculptor.

2001-2004 was a trainee artist of the creative sculpture workshop of the Russian Academy of Arts of the Ural, Siberia and Far East department.

2000 - 2003 - teacher of sculpture and drawing at the Krasnoyarsk Art School named after V.I. Surikov.

Since 2004, he has been a lecturer at the Department of Fine Arts and Computer Graphics at the Institute of Architecture and Design of the Siberian Federal University. Throughout all the years of teaching at the university, he has been an active participant in the creative and research activities of the university.

In 2016, the academic title of associate Professor of the higher attestation Commission of the specialty "Fine arts and decorative arts, and architecture" (Order of 26 October, 2016 No. 1364/NK-2).

In 2016, the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation has the third category restorer decorative plaster and stucco products (architectural stucco) (Order dated may 26, 2016 No. 1174).

Since 1997, he has been an active participant in the creative life of Krasnoyarsk. On account of more than 50 exhibitions, including urban, interregional and international level.

Monumental creativity:

- Monumental and decorative sculpture dedicated to the builders and their noble work. It was installed in the Square of builders of Krasnoyarsk, 2009.

- Sculptural composition "Golden cloud spent the night". It was installed in the central park of Cherkessk, as part of participation in the I International Biennale of Sculptural Creativity of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, 2013.

- Monument to the Heroes of the First World War. It was installed in the village of Chastostrovskoye, Krasnoyarsk Territory, 2014.

Sculptural composition "City musician". Installed on the Central embankment of Krasnoyarsk, 2015

- Sculptural composition "Cranes of my memory". Installed in the Winners' Square in Krasnoyarsk, 2017.

Creative Activities:

Dmitry Olegovich's personal creativity combines the basic foundations of academic tradition and an innovative search for plastic solutions to the composition. The author's works are in the collections of museums of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

In 2009, he created and installed a monumental and decorative sculpture dedicated to the builders and their noble work in the Square of the Builders of Krasnoyarsk (material: bronze). This work was the beginning of D.O. Shavlygin's creative career as a muralist.

In teaching D.O. Shavlygin develops the idea of synthesis of arts. He is a scientific researcher of the problems of sculptural art. He has trained more than 10 students - laureates of international competitions.

One of his creative hobbies is the creation of ice and snow sculptures, the winner of numerous international competitions of which he is. Annually acts as a curator of student teams of the International festival "Magic Ice of Siberia".
