0Ryzhenkov Aleksandr Yurievich (Russian: Рыженков Александр Юрьевич) is a musician-accordion player, conductor, professor of Voronezh State Pedagogical University, Honored Artist of Russia, laureate of All-Russian and International competitions.

He was born on March 28, 1960 in the village of Glyadyanskoye, Kurgan region. In 1979 he graduated from the Krasnoyarsk College of Arts (class of bayan R.D. Becher). In 1984, he completed his studies at the Krasnoyarsk State Institute of Arts (since 2018 – Dmitry Hvorostovsky Siberian State Institute of Arts) (A.A. Lubennikov bayan class, V.K. Blinov conducting class) with the qualification of conductor, teacher and concert performer.

Until 1983, he worked as an accordion player in summer pioneer camps, then played the first accordion in the city orchestra of folk instruments of the City House of Culture. In 1984-1986 he served in the ranks of the Soviet Army (second conductor of the military orchestra).

Since 1986, he has led the orchestra of folk instruments, which accompanied the performances of the children's dance ensemble "Orlyonok" of the Regional Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren. In 1989, an orchestra studio school was created at the Regional Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren on the basis of music circles. At the same time, the orchestra not only accompanied the choir, soloists, choreographic troupe, but also performed with an independent program, took part in radio and television broadcasts, participated in shows and competitions. From the teachers of the studio school, Alexander Ryzhenkov formed the orchestra of Russian folk instruments "Harmony", which began an active concert life. In the early 1990s, Harmony gave a series of concerts for the listeners of the city in support of the idea of creating a professional orchestra of Russian instruments. In 1993, the Krasnoyarsk Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments was created, the team consisted of students of the music school and the Institute of Arts.

In 1996, Alexander Yurievich completed his studies at the Novosibirsk State Conservatory (bayan class of Professor V.P. Gusev) and continued his activities in the city of Voronezh.

In 1996-1997, he worked as the head of the educational and production practice at the Voronezh Music and Pedagogical College. Since 1997, he has been teaching at the Department of Theory, History of Music and Musical Instruments of the Faculty of Arts of the Voronezh State Pedagogical University. He lectures on the discipline "Methodological foundations of teaching the main musical instrument", leads a class of accordion accordion, orchestra, is the curator of student groups. He arranges musical compositions for orchestras, ensembles and individual instruments. The author's arrangements of Alexander Yuryevich are used by leading soloists and orchestras of Russia. He is the author of more than 20 scientific and methodological works.

In 2000, Ryzhenkov created and directs the orchestra of folk instruments "Harmony", which successfully performs concerts in Voronezh, Lipetsk, Ivanovo, Tula and other cities of Russia. Two years after its creation, the collective became the winner of the All-Russian Orchestra Competition, held in the city of Kostroma. The orchestra constantly confirms its high professional level with numerous awards, the highest of which was the winning of the Grand Prix in Lanciano (Italy).

In 2006, Ryzhenkov was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia.
