Creative Activities
Siberian villages, villages, small towns, old streets inhabited by dilapidated houses - these are the main characters of Veronika Rezinkina's works. She was born in a small Siberian town in the Kemerovo region, most of which was occupied by areas with private houses, sometimes very tiny, with windows embedded in the ground. Probably, then there was a special, reverent feeling for wooden architecture. The houses in Veronika's works are always different to match their owners. Each with his own character - strict, neat or completely askew, but with elegant shutters and a painted porch. Folk art in the decoration of houses knows no boundaries. Getting into the interior of the house, a person seems to be in another dimension and the artist accurately conveys this state in his works. Each new season complements the graphic series with its own flavor. Each plot seen suggests to the author different ways of implementation. It is as if he is trying to find his own being with the help of artistic material, technique, composition and color. Striving for the most faithful transfer of nature leads to the search for different solutions to the creative task. "It is impossible to choose one and stop at it. You should always move," says Veronika Rezinkina. An artist with a special view of the world, the Siberian landscape, she actively experiments with techniques and types of art. At the personal exhibitions of 2012-2020, you can see not only the graphic sheets of the author, but also masterfully executed dishes with overglaze painting.
