Privalikhina Elena Aleksandrovna (Russian: Привалихина Елена Александровна, pronounced [prɪvəʹlɪxʲɪnə]; born 14 January 1965) is a Russian actress, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation.
Elena Privalikhina was born on January 14, 1965 in Krasnoyarsk. In 1981, she entered Krasnoyarsk Cooperative Technical School and completed the first year of education there. In 1987, she graduated from Krasnoyarsk Institute of Arts (since 2018 – Dmitri Hvorostovsky Siberian State Academy of Arts), I. Narinskaya’s class. When Elena was a student, she played a secondary role in the play So We Will Win! (Russian: Так победим!) by Mikhail Shatrov staged by Oleg Yefremov during the Moscow Art Theatre tour.
From 1987 to 1989, she worked at Krasnoyarsk Youth Theatre.
Since 1990 she has been an actress at A. S. Pushkin Krasnoyarsk Drama Theatre. Privalikhina plays in different genres and each time finds the right key for her heroines. She considers the following roles most successful and dearest to her heart: Lena (Birthday – Deathday), Elmire (Tartuffe), Stranger (Imperial Theatre –a play based on two plays by Bernard Shaw: The Man of Destiny and Great Catherine), Lizzie (The Rainmaker), Elmira (Santa Cruz), Emilia Marty (The Makropulos Affair).
In 2002, at the Regional Theatre Festival she was recognized as the winner in nomination "Best Actress". In 2003, Elena Privalikhina received the title of Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation.
