0Pashnin Andrey Ivanovich (Russian: Пашнин Андрей Иванович, pronounced [pɐʂʹɪn]; born 30 March 1966) is a Russian actor, director, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation, the Chairman of Krasnoyarsk Regional Branch of the Union of Theatre Workers of the Russian Federation, Associate Professor at Dmitri Hvorostovsky Siberian State Academy of Arts.

Andrey Pashnin was born on March 30, 1966 in Tkvarcheli, Abkhaz ASSR.

In 1989, he graduated from the Theatre Department, Krasnoyarsk State Institute of Arts (since 2018 – Dmitri Hvorostovsky Siberian State Academy of Arts). In 2002, he obtained a diploma in direction from Moscow Theatre Academy.

In 1989-1990, Pashnin did his military service. From 1990 to 2007, he worked as an actor at A. S. Pushkin Krasnoyarsk Drama Theatre. In 1997, he became the winner of the Viktor Astafiev Foundation Award in the nomination “Young Artist of the Year”.

In 2000, he created and headed the Separate Pashnin Theatre. In 2002, Andrey Pashnin was recognized as the best Krasnoyarsk actor by the Committee for Youth of the Krasnoyarsk City Administration following the results of the youth campaign “The Choice of the Young is the Choice of the Future”. In 2003-2004, he performed on the stage of the Actor House (Krasnoyarsk branch of the Union of Theatre Workers of the Russian Federation), where he was an actor and a director at the same time.

In 2016, Pashnin was awarded an Honorary Certificate of the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory for his personal contribution to the development of theatrical art in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In 2019, he received the Honorary Certificate of the Union of Theatre Workers of the Russian Federation “For many years of fruitful creative and social activities, contribution to the development of theatrical art, high professionalism, a great personal contribution to achieving the goals and objectives of the Union of Theatre Workers of the Russian Federation”.

Since 2020, he has been working as an Associate Professor at Acting Technique Department, Dmitri Hvorostovsky Siberian State Academy of Arts.
