Mezhova Anastasia Nikolaevna (Russian: Межова Анастасия Николаевна) is an artist-painter.
She was born in the city of Krasnoyarsk on October 7, 1989.
2001-2005 - training at the Krasnoyarsk art school №2.
2005-2009 - training at the Krasnoyarsk Art School named after VI Surikov to the department of painting.
2010-2016 - training at the Krasnoyarsk State Art Institute (now the Siberian State Institute of Arts named after Dmitry Hvorostovsky), Department of Painting, workshop of A.A. Pokrovsky - Professor, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, full member of the Russian Academy of Arts and V.N. Bychinsky - Professor, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
Since 2017 Member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation
Participant of city, regional, international exhibitions since 2007, as well as several solo exhibitions. Co-author of the textbook "Theoretical foundations of knowledge in the academic discipline "painting" (MBUDO Children's Art School, Kansk). Creative Activities.
The works of the young painter Anastasia Mezhova represent the modern stage of development of the Siberian realistic school. The author resolutely pushes its limits, turning to new interpretations of the genres of portrait, still life, fantasy plots with numerous quotations from world culture. The monumentality of the formats used by the artist reflects the breadth and scope of the creative method. The sweeping impressionistic writing of genre compositions organically combines with the elaborated details of still lifes. Especially close to the author are the themes of emotional disconnection from everyday everyday reality - sleep, dance. She turns to them more than once and each time discovers new nuances of the state. Anastasia devotes a lot of time and creative energy to teaching, participation in international plein-airs and charity projects. He is a regular exhibitor of city, regional and international exhibitions. In her creative portfolio, despite her youth, there are several solo exhibitions and awards at the city and regional level for success in creative activity.
