Krotov Ivan Nikolaevich (Russian: Кротов Иван Николаевич) is an artist of decorative and applied art (ceramics). Professor of the Department of "Artistic Ceramics" of Dmitri Hvorostovsky Siberian State Academy of Arts.
He was born on 11.09.1957 in the village of Kostyli in the Zalesovsky district of the Altai Territory.
1975-1981 Studied at the Kemerovo Art School.
1977 - 1979 - served in the Soviet Army.
1988 -1993 He studied at the Krasnoyarsk State Art Institute (now Dmitry Hvorostovsky Siberian State Academy of Arts).
1995 - Lecturer of the Department of "Artistic Ceramics" of the Krasnoyarsk State Art Institute.
2005 - Associate Professor
2015 - Professor of the Department of "Artistic Ceramics" of the Siberian State Institute of Arts named after Dmitry Hvorostovsky.
Since 2001, Member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Member of the Board of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Organization, Chairman of the DPI section.
