0Davydov Sergei Aleksandrovich (Russian: Давыдов Сергей Александрович) is a Russian musician, teacher, cultural devotee. He was born on March 4, 1948 in the city of Astrakhan. In 1965 he graduated from the Astrakhan Music College (class of accordion V.I. Kondrashov), in 1971 - with honors from the Moscow State Institute of Culture (class of accordion B.A. Dmitriev).

In 1975, Sergey Alexandrovich arrived from Moscow to Severobaikalsk as part of the first builders of BAM. In the same year he founded in Severobaikalsk the first children's art school in Buryatia and the first on the entire BAMA highway. Simultaneously with the management of the school and teaching in it, he was engaged in organizing amateur performances in Severobaikalsk and created a group of vocal and instrumental ensemble. Later, on the basis of the children's art school, he organized the orchestra of guitarists "Silver Strings" and the ensemble of guitarists "Girls". In 1981, he was awarded the medals "For the construction of BAM" and "For Labor Valor" for his cultural and ascetic activity.

In 1991 he graduated from the Krasnoyarsk State Institute of Arts (since 2018 - the Siberian State Institute of Arts named after Dmitry Hvorostovsky) (class bayan A.Y. Bardin). In the same year, his creative and educational activities were awarded the title "Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Buryatia". Awarded the diploma "For contribution to the development of world culture and art".

Today, the pedagogical activity of Sergey Alexandrovich Davydov, an honorary citizen of Severobaikalsk, an honored worker of the Russian Federation, continues at the school founded by him, where he heads the department of folk instruments.
